Canadian Pre-Licensing Education and Course Requirements

The approved providers offer the following mandatory WFG Canada courses:

• LLQP Pre‑Licensing Education (HLLQP)
• Anti‑Money Laundering in the Financial Industry (AML)
• Canadian Ethics Course for Life Insurance Agents

Completion of both the Ethics and AML courses is required as part of onboarding and ongoing licensing.

The following optional courses are available through Oliver’s Learning only:

• Referral Course
• Leverage Course
• Outside Business Activities & Material Changes Disclosure Course

Oliver’s Learning

• WFG Launch Users:
  • Profile creation happens automatically
  • Access is provided through Single Sign‑On (SSO) via WFG Launch
• Existing Licensees:
  • Can access Oliver’s Learning directly at https://hllqp.com

SeeWhy Learning
To receive WFG‑specific pricing and proper access, advisors must:

1. Go to: https://seewhylearning.com/WFG
2. Enter their WFG Agent Code correctly during registration
3. Use the same email address used during WFG Launch registration (strongly recommended)

• Once a course is completed with the provider, it is reported and updated in WFGIAC the next business day
• Courses completed on Friday will not appear in WFGIAC until Monday

Important: If WFG Launch associate attempts to start the Agent Agreement before the course update appears, they will receive an error indicating a missing requirement.

AntiMoney Laundering Course (AML)

• Valid for 2 years from course completion
• The course must be re-taken only if the previous AML has expired

Ethics Course

• Valid for 2 years only if there is no break in affiliation
• If an advisor is terminated from WFGIAC and later reinstated, a new Ethics course must be completed, even if the prior course is still within the 2‑year period

All existing licensed advisors are responsible for maintaining their education requirements to remain compliant and in good standing.

• Ethics Course: must be renewed every 2 years
• AML Course: must be renewed every 2 years

Failure to maintain current Ethics and AML courses will result in processed Commission to be placed into Suspended Balance
